SRM Science Fair 2025
The National Science Fair 2025 was inaugurated on National Science Day (28.02.2025) at SRM MCET, focusing on the theme “A Greener Tomorrow: Zero-Waste Science Innovations.” Over 450 school students from Madurai and nearby areas participated, showcasing their innovative science projects aimed at environmental sustainability.
Two Days National Level Workshop on “ Renewable Energy Resources in India: Career Prospects and Challenges ”
The workshop provided a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration among professionals in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Participants explored various facets of renewable energy, including solar, wind, hydro, and biomass energy, while discussing challenges and opportunities in India’s renewable energy sector.
Hands-on Practice on Preparation of Sanitary Chemicals
The two-day hands-on training program aimed at equipping non-teaching and housekeeping staff with practical knowledge on preparing essential sanitary chemicals. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 23 non-teaching staff on the first day and 18 housekeeping staff on the second day.
Emerging Trends in Optimal Design of Electric Vehicles and Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles for Sustainable Futures
The AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) sponsored six-day online Faculty Development Program (FDP) was conducted from 27th January 2025 to 1st February 2025. The objective of this FDP was to provide an in-depth understanding of the latest advancements in electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, focusing on sustainability and optimization.
