Extract knowledge for startup

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) hosted the “Problem Solution Match – Mock Prototype” event on 13th September 2025, from 1:10 PM to 3:50 PM. Conducted offline, the event saw active participation from 101 students across various years. The initiative provided a platform for students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world challenges by designing and presenting prototype solutions.

Each team was assigned a relevant problem statement and developed a mock prototype, presenting their work through an 8–10 minute PowerPoint presentation followed by a Q&A session. The event emphasized the iterative nature of prototyping, encouraging students to view their designs as evolving models refined through feedback and continuous improvement.

Teams showcased innovative solutions integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics, demonstrating strong conceptual clarity, creativity, and practicality. Judging criteria included concept clarity, functionality, and innovation.

Participants gained valuable insights into their prototypes’ strengths and areas for improvement. The session fostered critical skills such as collaboration, communication, and design thinking. Feedback from students highlighted the event’s dynamic and student-centered approach, appreciating the opportunity to combine creativity with technical expertise.

In summary, the event successfully bridged academic knowledge with practical innovation, reinforcing the department’s dedication to experiential learning.
