PARENTS TEACHERS' MEETING

The Parents Teachers Meeting (PTM) was successfully conducted across all departments to discuss students’ academic progress, attendance, discipline, and overall development. A total of 268 parents attended the meeting.

The event commenced with a prayer song followed by a welcome address by Dr. Jeevanantham, AP/S&H. The lighting of the lamp was performed by the Principal, Vice Principal, and parent representatives.

Key sessions included:

• Anna University Valuation & Revaluation Procedures: Explained by Dr. Senthilrani S, ASP/ECE.

• Institutional Events Overview: Presented by Dr. Anusuya A, HoD/S&H.

• Attendance, ERP & Web Portal Access: Highlighted by Dr. Subhashini S J, ASP/CSE.

• Continuous Assessment & Internal Marks: Discussed by Dr. Karthik M, AP/EEE.

• Internal Valuation Process: Covered by Dr. Deepamangai P, AP/EEE.

• Placement & Training: Shared by Mr. Vijay, T&P Coordinator.

• Discipline & Conduct: Addressed by Dr. Rajkumar S, ASP/Chem.

• Clubs & Societies: Explained by Dr. Ashok Kumar R, ASP/Mech.

• Hostel Facilities: Briefed by Dr. Krishna Kumar P, AP/Civil.

Each HoD presented departmental reports covering academic performance, research, placements, industrial tie-ups, and student activities.

During the feedback session, parents appreciated the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, student discipline, and placement efforts. The Principal, Dr. S. Durairaj, addressed queries and assured continued focus on academic quality and infrastructure enhancement.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sambath S, Vice Principal, followed by mentor-wise discussions to review individual student performance and set improvement strategies.

Conclusion:
The PTM fostered effective communication between faculty and parents, strengthening their collaboration to support student success and holistic growth.
