Event Summary:
We have organized the International Conference on Engineering Horizons: Innovation, Advancements, and Sustainability (ICON: EHIAS ’25) on May 16, 17 -2025.
The Day-1 of International Conference was held on 16.05.2025.
Dr. S. Sambath, Organizing Secretary & Vice Principal delivered the Welcome Address and presented the Conference Overview.
Dr. R.Venkatesh Babu General Chair & Director – Academics and Administration / SRM Group delivered the Presidential Address
Dr. S. Durairaj, Organizing Chair & Principal delivered the Felicitation Address.
Prof. Ir. Dr. Yusri Yusof, Professor at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, delivered the Inaugural Address and a keynote talk on “Smart Retrofit Strategies: Integrating Legacy Systems into Sustainable Manufacturing for Industry 4.0.”
Dr. K. Lingadurai, Professor & Dean, Mechanical Engineering, Anna University Regional Campus, Madurai, delivered the Special Address
A key highlight of the conference was the official release of the conference proceedings along with 10 well defined thematic book titles spanning various Engineering and technology domains. This significant milestone showcases the diverse research contributions and innovative advancements being made across multiple disciplines.
Each book represents a focused effort by scholars and experts, reflecting current trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices in their respective fields.
FN Session :
Following the Keynote address by the foreign speaker, the forenoon featured three parallel paper presentation sessions held at different venues. A total of 31 research papers were presented.

AN Session :
In the afternoon, a distinguished Keynote address titled “Beyond Equations: The Art of Creativity and Innovations in Engineering” was delivered by Dr. S.P. Sivaprakasam, Professor, Mechanical Engineering, NIT Trichy, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
Subsequently, the afternoon segment of the conference featured three more parallel paper presentation sessions in separate venues.
A total of 20 research papers were presented, covering a wide range of contemporary topics in engineering and technology.

The second day of the International Conference on was held on 17.05.2025, in virtual mode.
The day commenced with a warm welcome and was followed by an insightful keynote address titled “Greening the Stack: Sustainable AI and Tech Infrastructure from Dev to Deploy” by Mr. Clifton R., Staff Programmer Analyst, American National Insurance Company, Galveston, Texas, USA.
Subsequently, Session no 3, 4 and 5 were conducted from 10.15 am to 11.45am , 11.45am to 1.15pm and 2.pm to 3pm

Session 4a: Chair: Dr. Narendran Rajagopalan, Associate Professor, CSE, NIT Puducherry
Session 4b:Chair: Dr. L. S. Raju, Professor, Mechanical Engineering, NITTTR-Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
Session 4c:Chair: Dr. A. John, Associate Professor, ECE, Military College of Telecommunications, Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Session 5a: Chair: Dr. R. Arockia Kumar, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering, NIT – Warangal
A total of 57 research papers were presented, encompassing a broad spectrum of contemporary topics in engineering and technology.
At 3:00 PM, the valedictory function commenced. Dr. K. Balamurugan, Joint Secretary, delivered a comprehensive summary of the two-day conference. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. R. Lakshmi, Joint Secretary.
