Event Summary:
The Department of Management Studies organized a MS Excel Workshop for MBA students on 12/04/25 (Saturday). The one-day workshop was expertly facilitated by Dr. R. Lakshmi, Associate Professor, AIML, SRMMCET.
The workshop held in Data Analytics Lab, where students were introduced to advanced excel techniques and practical application and Empowering business skills. The objective of the workshop is to Enhance Data Analysis Skills, Improve Data Visualization and Master Data Filtering.
In Excel workshop students focused on five primary areas such as Pivot table, Chart creation, Advanced Filter, Formulas, Data Analysis etc., The workshop provided students with practical knowledge and skills in Pivot Table creation, charting, and advanced filtering techniques and formulas. The hands-on approach ensured that students not only learned the theoretical aspects of Excel but also gained valuable practical experience.
The success of this workshop underscores the importance of continuous professional development in data analysis for management studies.
