Gist of Event The importance of sustainable practices in the construction industry was highlighted by Er.S.Vigneshraj, Assistant Engineer, Highway Department. The overview of current challenges such as climate change, natural resource depletion, etc., was discussed. The case studies highlighting the construction practices incorporating sustainable methods were discussed. The SDG goals were discussed, and highlighted on sustainable materials used in construction. Finally, the session was summarised with the highlighted points and concluded.
