SRM Panch Minute Competition

SRM Panch minute competition organized by the Fine Arts Association was held on October 31, 2025, at the College Auditorium (First floor). SRM Panch minute was celebrated for students to showcase their cultural talents and creativity. Each department was invited to participate and exhibit their students’ talents as a team within panch (five) minutes, both on stage and off stage. Each team had a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 15 participants This fest aims to encourage teamwork, coordination and artistic expression among students. Performances included many form of cultural expressions such as music, dance, skit, mime, fashion show fireless cooking, drawing, mehanthi art etc..

HIGHLIGHTS:

The event commenced promptly at 2:00 PM with a warm and thoughtful Welcome Address by MOC team of First year students. They welcomed all teaching faculties and the students who attended the function. They presented the words of gratitude and also explained about the rules and guidelines for the participants..They welcomed jury members Dr.M.Sangeetha, ASP/IT, Dr.P.Krishnakumar, AP/Civil and Dr.M.Karthik, AP/EEE. All nine Engineering departments and MBA department students performed various cultural expressions simultaneously both in on stage and off stage within their allotted five minutes.  Jury team members evaluated their performances and declared IT department student team as winners and ECE department students team as runners. Our honourable SRM MCET chairman birthday trophy was presented as a rolling trophy to the winners by our beloved Principal Dr.S.Durairaj sir. Medals were distributed to the winners and runners by Principal sir, Vice principal Dr.S.Sambath sir and group coordinator Mr.M.Manoharan sir.

CONCLUSION:

The session wrapped up with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by MOC team at 3:55 PM, acknowledging the college management, Principal sir, Vice principal sir and group coordinator sir, organizing team and enthusiastic participants. SRM Panch minute competition was conducted successfully which  highlighted creativity and cultural expressions of the students. The Principal, faculty members, and students expressed their satisfaction and joy over the success of the program.
