Chess Tournament

The Department of Physical Education is very happy to inform you that the Anna University Zone – 16 inter-collegiate men and women chess tournament was successfully conducted on 18.10.2023 held at the SRM MCET Auditorium from 8.30 a.m. under the headship of our beloved principal, Dr.S.Durairaj.

Twenty-one Institutions (Sivagangai & Madurai) have participated in this event, with a total count of 113 students, which includes both men and women. 13 male teams and 8 female teams participated in this event. The tournament chief guest, Mr. M.Manoharan, Group Coordinator, SRM Groups, has distributed the trophies and certificates to the winners. The entire event was successfully planned and executed by Dr.R.Sathish Kumar, Physical Director, Department of Physical Education, SRM MCET.
