National Conference NCON' 2024

SRM Madurai College for Engineering and Technology, Sivagangai, successfully hosted the First Series of National Conference (NCON’24), a comprehensive three-day event combining technical sessions and expert keynote addresses. This event represented a collaborative endeavor from conception through to completion, spearheaded by the college’s management, principal, organizing committee, faculty members, and students.

The call for papers commenced on February 15th ’24 and concluded on April 8th ’24. During this period, the conference received an exceptional level of participation with more than 200 entries from attendees representing over 50 colleges throughout Tamil Nadu and neighboring states.

The event was graced by distinguished chief guests across three days:

Day 1 : we were honored with the presence of Dr. G. Thavasi Raja and Dr. S. Moorthy from NIT Trichy; Dr. R. Saravana Ram from Anna University Regional Campus, Madurai; and Mr. M.J. Anand Kumar, Lead Engineer (R&D) at HCL Technologies, Bangalore.

Day 2 : featured insights from Dr. T. Senthil Kumar of Amrita School of Computing, Coimbatore; Mr. C.Rajkumar, Chief Technology Officer at Delivery Blueprints India Pvt Ltd., Pune; Dr.E.Srie Vidhya  Janani also from Anna University Regional Campus, Madurai; and Mr.Ramkumar Manoharan, Co- Founder of Tensor Learning in Bangalore.

Day 3 : With esteemed speakers, Dr.R.Selvaraj retired Senior Principal Scientist & Head (Retd.) CSIR – CECRI Karaikudi, alongside Dr.M.R.Thansekhar, Professor – Mechanical, K.L.N College of Engineering in Sivagangai District.

During the sessions, we were honored by the presence of our esteemed Principal and Chair of the organizing committee, Dr.S.Durairaj, alongside the Organizing Secretaries from various departments.
