ZURA '25

The vibrant cultural fest ZURA ’25 was a grand celebration of student creativity, talent, and cultural diversity at SRM Madurai College for Engineering and Technology, held on 30th May 2025, the event served as an electrifying platform for students to showcase their extraordinary abilities across various genres such as music, dance, drama, and comedy— bringing to life the theme “One Stage, Infinite Stories.”

The celebration was further enriched by the warm wishes and appreciation extended by Dr. Ravi Pachamuthu, Chairman, SRM Group, Mrs. R. Padma Priya, Chairman, SRM MCET, and Ms. R. Harini, Correspondent, SRM MCET, whose support added immense value to the occasion.

The event was presided over by Dr. S. Durairaj, Principal of SRM MCET, Dr. S. Sambath, Vice Principal, and Dr. R. VenkateshBabu, Director (Academics & Administration), SRM Group. Their visionary guidance and encouraging words inspired the participants and acknowledged the efforts of the organizing team in creating a vibrant and inclusive platform.

Mr. M. Manoharan, Group Coordinator, SRM MCET, played a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination among departments, contributing significantly to the smooth execution of the event. A special mention goes to Mr. M. Tamil Chelvan, Nodal Officer, whose meticulous planning and behind-the-scenes efforts ensured flawless logistics, artist engagement, and student coordination. The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr.P.Sabarinath and Dr.M.Angala Eswari, under the wise direction of the Nodal Officer.

The fest featured entertaining and high-spirited performances by special guests: KPY Azhar, who kept the audience in splits with his humor and energetic hosting; KPY TSK, who added charm and comedy with his crowd-pleasing presence; and DJ Sam, who elevated the atmosphere with foot-tapping music and engaging DJ mixes, igniting the crowd’s enthusiasm.

ZURA ’25 was a day of joy, unity, and celebration—leaving behind cherished memories and igniting the spirit of cultural excellence within the SRM MCET student community.
