HACKHIVE’1.0

The HackHive 1.0 began with an inauguration event at 09:30 AM. The inauguration took place at the auditorium, with The Principal, Dr. M. Sangeetha, and Dr. M. Pandi at the dias. Dr. M. Sangeetha delivered the welcome address, officially commencing the event. The lighting of the Kuthuvilakku was done by two of the participants, providing a Peaceful atmosphere. Mrs. Divya Bharathi provided a hackathon briefing, and Dr. M. Sangeetha continued with the details of HackHive 1.0.
Dr. S. Durairaj, The Principal delivered an inspiring Presidential Address, motivating the students. Finally, appreciation for the IT department students who had won in events conducted in other colleges was given. After that,a short break was introduced, concluding the inauguration. At 11:00 am, the Hackathon was set to stage. A problem statement was given with a requirement to complete 4 tasks. The teams set to work. Evaluation of the projects began at 1:30 PM. Three reviewers, Dr. S. J. Subashini, Dr. R. Deepalakshmi, and Dr. M. Pandi, took three different batches of teams to be evaluated. Finally, the highest scorers In batch were compared for first, second and third places respectively. The winners were announced at the valedictory function, where the closing ceremonies done.
