Build-a-Bot

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) organized an innovative event titled Build-a-Bot – Cyber Chatter on 13th September 2025. The program aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of chatbot development and its relevance to cybersecurity awareness. A total of 55 students enthusiastically participated, forming 13 creative teams.The event began with a brief orientation on artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and secure chatbot design. Participants were then challenged to design and implement a chatbot capable of delivering engaging, cyber-themed conversations. Each team showcased their bot’s interactive features, highlighting creativity, technical skill, and an understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as safe communication and threat awareness.The office bearers of the department evaluated the teams based on originality, technical implementation, user experience, and relevance to cybersecurity. After an exciting round of presentations, the top three teams were selected as winners. Appreciation certificates will be awarded to these teams to recognize their effort and innovation.
