The Coding Contest was organized by the Department of
Artificial Intelligence & Data Science under CLUB
"BRAINS", in association with the Institution's
Innovation Council (IIC) and the Computer Society of
India (CSI), for II-year AI & DS students. The event
aimed to enhance programming, logical thinking, and
problem-solving skills through competitive coding. A
total of 48 students participated in three elimination
rounds, with 20 students advancing to the second round
and 10 finalists competing in the final round. Based on
their outstanding performance, two winners were
selected. The contest strengthened computational
thinking, coding proficiency, confidence, and readiness
for technical interviews and coding competitions.
Participants found the Coding Contest to be highly engaging, challenging, and rewarding. They
appreciated the opportunity to apply their programming knowledge in a competitive environment
that tested their logical thinking, coding accuracy, and problem-solving abilities. The three-round
elimination format created excitement throughout the event, motivating students to perform their
best and continuously improve their coding strategies. Participants expressed that the contest
allowed them to experience real-time problem-solving under time constraints, which helped them
understand the importance of writing efficient, error-free, and optimized code.
