In compliance with the UGC guidelines, SRM MCET is highly vigilant and gives utmost care to prevent ragging in any form, as it is a serious offence.
In order to curb the menace of ragging in SRM MCET, an Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted to monitor the activities of the students and make certain that no behaviour/gesture of such sort takes place.
Also, the institution strongly believes in “prevention is better than cure”, and hence the committee propagates awareness among the students to avoid such tendencies or to get redressed immediately, in case it ever emerges.
