A Pass in Higher Secondary (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, put together as given below.

A pass in any one of the Higher Secondary (Vocational Subject) as given below with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, with a minimum average percentage put together as given below.

Programs Eligibility
For M.E. / M.Tech.
All Postgraduate Programs in Engineering (M.E. / M.Tech.)
A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) or equivalent Engineering degree from any recognized Indian College obtaining at least 50% marks for open category and 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.

For MBA

Programs Eligibility
Student Entry Level Eligibility Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category – BC/BCM/MBC/SCA/SC/ST) from a recognized university.
Qualifying Examination CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT, State Common Entrance Test, any Central Government organized entrance test

Additional Eligibility Details:

Master’s Degree Program

Candidates for the admission to the first semester Master’s Degree Program shall be required to have passed an appropriate U.G Degree examination of Anna University or any other examination of any University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University as equivalent thereto.

Entrance Examination (TANCET)

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the Common Entrance Examination (TANCET) conducted by the Government of Tamilnadu.

Details regarding the entrance examination are published in the newspapers well in advance every year.

Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota.

Appearing for entrance examination for Management seats is a must and this entrance examination is conducted by the college. Admission forms may be obtained from the college Admission office.
