Event Summary:
ISTE Student Chapter, successfully organized a Career Guidance Program for Future Engineers on 4th August 2026. This program was organized to create awareness among students about the various career opportunities available in the public sector and to motivate them to prepare for competitive examinations.
The resource person explained the opportunities available through examinations conducted by various recruiting agencies such as the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and other Central and State Government organizations. He elaborated on the eligibility requirements, selection procedures, and effective preparation strategies for different government job examinations. The importance of consistent preparation, time management, mock tests, and regular newspaper reading was emphasized. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions. The participants actively engaged in the discussion and expressed keen interest in pursuing careers in public service.
The Program proved to be highly informative and motivating, encouraging students to prepare systematically for various government job examinations and build successful careers in the public sector.
